About Burnett CBT
Burnett CBT is a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) practice specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders and Body Focused Repetitive Behavior Disorders (BFRB's). We are a fee-for-service practice offering in-person and telehealth services. Clinicians practice in all PsyPact approved states and provide limited in-person exposure services in the Washington D.C. and Tampa, FL areas. We use a range of research supported mental health treatments, including CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Comprehensive Behavioral Treatment (ComB) for BFRB's, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed treatment. We tailor treatment to each person, while emphasizing the importance of learning and doing in the process of changing problematic thoughts, managing difficult emotions, and identifying and changing ineffective behavior patterns. Our goal is to help you change your relationship with your anxiety, and decrease your struggles with shame and self-doubt.
